Boil Water Notice Rescinded
The HCMUD 278 Board of Directors would like to inform residents that the Boil Water Notice has been rescinded. The District’s operator, Si Environmental has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore and verify the pressure and quality of the water distributed by the District used for drinking water or human consumption purposes.
HCMUD 278 has provided TCEQ with laboratory test results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling prior to use. As with the City of Houston’s rescind notice, effective immediately, HCMUD 278 residents no longer need to boil water prior to consumption.
