Resident Alert: Water Conservation Notice

Notice to Residents:

Due to the severe heat and weather conditions, your District has now entered Stage 1 of its Drought Contingency Plan. We ask that all residents conserve water by taking the following measures:

  1. outdoor watering by sprinklers only between the hours of 8:00 pm and 3:00 am;
  2. limit non-essential water uses;
  3. check for leaks; and
  4. make sprinkler adjustments as needed to avoid watering sidewalks, driveways, and roadways.

Ensure that you have the most recent information as it relates to Harris County MUD 278 by signing up for the District Alert System, and receive communication through text and email updates. Additionally, the District website will be updated, as needed, with information regarding droughts, weather and storm warnings, flood risks, and any possible impacts to facilities or drainage as a result of weather.
