At this time, the Harris County MUD 278's water distribution system is functioning normally and there have been no water outages.
We are aware that the City of Houston has issued a boil water notice due to lost pressure at its East Purification Plant. However, the problem did not extend to the other two Water Plants operated by the City that supply our water and HCMUD 278 is NOT under a boil water notice at this time. Any official notices about changes in the District's water system will come directly from the District and the District's operator, Si Environmental.
